Flash “loupe” application
By admin | February 12, 2009
I created a small Flash application that allows people to upload a picture, then to view it under a “digital” jewelers loupe. I made this with watch collectors in mind, as many of them like to inspect their timepieces closely, however any photo can be uploaded, regardless of subject. This app doesn’t really serve much of a pupose, to be quite honest, other than to provide a few minutes of entertainment when one’s bored. Feel free to check it out and upload a picture to it… Click Here!

Caroline at the Theatre
By admin | July 21, 2008
Caroline had a busy month starring in two theatre plays; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Annie. She did such an amazing job in both of them! A professional photographer took several pics during the Annie production. In her main role, Caroline played Molly, the youngest orphan. In one scene she also played Sandy, Annie’s dog. We’re so proud of her and can’t wait until her next play. Great job Caroline - we’re so proud of you!

DeepSea Sea-Dweller Screensaver
By admin | July 20, 2008
I created a new Flash clock, the Rolex DeepSea Sea-Dweller! Several people have been waiting for this one for quite a while, so I’m happy to announce that it’s completed. It has “lume mode” between 6PM and 6AM, so feel free to adjust the clock on your computer to see both day and night modes. The screensaver is also available for download.

www.TimeKeeperForum.com
By admin | July 3, 2008
I started a new forum with Cayce, the owner of www.PreOwnedRolex.com. The forum is off to a great start and after 1 week there’s already plenty of activity! Friends and family members think I’m crazy when it comes to watches, but this forum just proves that I’m not the only one who’s crazy… some of these guys are absolutely insane! I’m having a blast with it and I’ve heard nothing but kind words from our users. If you like watches, particularly Rolex, then check it out! http://www.timekeeperforums.com

Washington DC visit!
By admin | July 3, 2008
I took Jeremy to Washington DC over the weekend to visit his Grandparents. We had a great time hanging out and sight-seeing around the city. It was great spending time with my parents and Jack, who I hadn’t seen for 3 months. Jeremy stayed in DC and will return home next weekend with his Grandmother when she flies down to see Caroline’s drama plays, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Annie. Jeremy’s having a blast and really enjoys city life! I took a BUNCH of pictures and uploaded them to my Flickr account. Feel free to check them out HERE.

Caroline dance update
By admin | June 20, 2008
After much discussion we decided to allow Caroline to join the competitive team at her dance studio. Although it will be expensive and time consuming, this is a great opportunity for Caroline that we don’t want her to miss. She will start off by taking 3 dance classes; ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. She is also required to take private lessons to help her learn the competitive dances. She’s signed up to perform one solo and a trio as of right now. She’s really excited to be part of the team and we’re certainly very proud of her. Go Caroline!!!

Kitchen remodel completed!
By admin | June 18, 2008
Our kitchen remodel has finally been completed! It was delayed for a few weeks as the new counter tops took three weeks to arrive. The cabinets were refinished, new counter tops were installed, a wainscoting backsplash was installed, and the the entire kithen was repainted… although it’s hard to tell. I still need to have some of the wainscoting touched up around the rest of kitchen, but it’s not a priority. I’m really wanting to replace the appliances with stainless steel - I think they’d look incredible with the existing kitchen color combination. Here’s a few pics of the finished product.

Dance recital
By admin | June 12, 2008
Caroline had her dance recital last weekend - she did such an excellent job! During the awards ceremony following the recital Caroline was invited to join the competition dance team. There was only one other girl besides Caroline invited to join the team, and she’s a teenager. We’re so proud of Caroline and she’s turning in to such a beautiful dancer! There is obviously a large commitment of time and money that will have to be made, and we also want to make sure that this is the right dance studio for her. We’re meeting with the studio owner this afternoon to share some of our concerns and to get a better understanding of the program. Anyway, I just wanted to brag on my absolutely beautiful and multi-talented daughter!
